Conveniently located near the city, this airport is easily accessible by road or rail. All land transport arrives at a convenient interchange known as The Station. From there, access to all terminals is provided by the Skylink moving walkway system.

By car to or from Manchester Airport (MAN)

Drivers can make a 20 minute run along the M56 and turn off at junction 5. Plentiful parking is available in multi storey car parks convenient for each terminal. Long stay parking is provided at one car park for terminal 1 and 3 and another for terminal 2.

Ground Transportation

Each terminal is served by a regular courtesy bus service. Passengers can book airport parking online or by calling 0871 310 2200. Passengers have several convenient bus options. The 24 hour Skyline bus 43 runs to the airport from the city centre. National Express coaches depart for the airport from Manchester and from cities all over the country.

Fast and frequent train services run to the airport from Manchester Piccadilly as well as various cities in the region including Southport, Wigan and Crew. Another option is the Metrolink tram service from Cornbrook station. Trams depart every 12 minutes for the 35 minute journey.
